A beautiful manor house near Oxford featuring Lutron lighting throughout, Somfy motorized blinds, and a large open garden audio system for seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining across the estate.
This Grade II listed manor house near Oxford presented a unique challenge: integrating cutting-edge technology while preserving the character and heritage of the property. Vertex AV worked closely with the architects and interior designers to ensure every element was sympathetic to the historic setting.
Lutron lighting was the natural choice, offering market-leading dimming performance and compatibility with heritage fixtures. Every room was fitted with Lutron controls, from the grand drawing room to the intimate library, with scenes designed to complement the time of day and mood.
Somfy motorized blinds were installed throughout, discreetly hidden within window reveals to maintain clean sight lines. The blinds integrate with the lighting and heating for automated comfort and energy efficiency throughout the seasons.
The standout feature is the open garden audio system — weather-resistant speakers hidden among the landscaping deliver rich, full-range sound across the terraces, lawn and walled garden. The system can be enjoyed independently or linked to the indoor multi-room audio for seamless entertaining throughout the estate, making this one of our most distinctive outdoor audio installations.
