Reliable protection, smart control
Alarms That Think Before They Ring
False alarms are frustrating for you and costly if they trigger police response charges. Our smart alarm systems use multiple verification methods: motion detection, door sensors, video verification, and AI analytics to ensure alerts are genuine before notifying you or the monitoring centre. Wireless installation means minimal disruption to your decor, while smartphone control lets you arm, disarm, and check status from anywhere.
We are certified installers for Ajax, Texecom, and Pyronix alarm systems. Ajax is our preferred choice for luxury residential properties: the sleek, minimalist sensors complement high-end interiors, the 7-year battery life eliminates maintenance visits, and the native smart home integration enables sophisticated automation. Texecom is our choice for properties requiring NSI certification for insurance purposes.
Professional monitoring ensures someone always responds, even when you cannot. Our monitoring partners operate 24/7 NSI-approved centres that receive your alarm signal, verify the event, and dispatch keyholders or police as appropriate. For clients who travel frequently or own multiple properties, monitoring provides peace of mind that your home is protected at all times.

Alarm FAQs
What types of alarm systems do you install?
We install wireless smart alarms from Ajax, professional wired systems from Texecom, and hybrid systems that combine both approaches. Ajax systems are ideal for retrofits and period properties where new cabling is impractical. Texecom systems are preferred for new builds and properties requiring NSI Gold or SSAIB certification for insurance purposes. We also install Pyronix wireless systems and Honeywell monitored alarms. During your consultation, we assess your property and recommend the system that best meets your security requirements and insurance obligations.
What is the Ajax alarm system?
Ajax is a premium wireless alarm system from Ukraine that has become the professional standard for smart home security. Ajax sensors use proprietary Jeweller radio protocol with 2000-metre range and 7-year battery life. The system communicates over WiFi, Ethernet, and cellular simultaneously, ensuring alerts reach you even if one communication path is disrupted. Ajax integrates natively with Control4, Crestron, and other smart home platforms. The sleek, minimalist design of Ajax devices complements luxury interiors, and the app provides comprehensive control and monitoring.
Do I need a monitored alarm?
Monitoring provides a professional response when you cannot respond yourself. A 24/7 monitoring centre receives your alarm signal, attempts to contact you, and dispatches keyholders or police if they cannot reach you. This is particularly valuable when you travel frequently, sleep deeply, or live in a property where a siren alone would not attract attention. Insurance companies often require monitored alarms for high-value properties. We offer monitoring through NSI-approved monitoring centres with police response capability.
How do you prevent false alarms from pets?
Pet-immune passive infrared sensors use dual-zone detection that ignores movement below a certain height and weight threshold. Most sensors are rated for pets up to 25kg. For larger dogs, we use curtain sensors that detect movement in specific zones rather than the whole room, or we position sensors to cover areas that pets cannot access. We also use dual-technology sensors that require both PIR and microwave detection before triggering, which significantly reduces false alarms from any source.
Can the alarm integrate with my smart home?
Yes, alarm integration is one of our core specialisms. We integrate Ajax, Texecom, and Pyronix alarms with Control4 and Crestron systems. This allows you to arm and disarm from your smart home app, receive alerts within your existing notification system, and create automated responses to alarm events. When the alarm triggers, lights can activate, cameras can start recording, and you can receive a push notification with live video. When you arm the system, doors can lock and blinds can close automatically.
What is the difference between Grade 2 and Grade 3 alarms?
Alarm grades are defined by European standard EN 50131 and indicate the level of security provided. Grade 2 is suitable for most residential properties and provides protection against intruders with basic tools. Grade 3 is required for higher-risk properties and provides protection against intruders with sophisticated tools and knowledge of alarm systems. Insurance companies may specify a minimum grade for high-value properties. We assess your risk profile and insurance requirements to recommend the appropriate grade.
